The Exquisite Milestone

Staff members during Monday preparation.
“Having Joined Sadili Oval at the beginning of Court of Dreams project-Year 3, I have witnessed quite a number of advancements towards making an impact to the target community. Despite the numerous challenges such as the scorching sun and the dust, the long walking distances and other unappealing environmental and physical conditions, Sadili team is determined to ensure that by the end of the project the transformation will have taken root. We have received a great deal of financial support from our donors and management which have been a great motivation for each of us to play their distinguished roles to see to it that the project runs smoothly. As we approach the end of the second quarter of the third year of this project, we take pride on the activities that have already taken place successfully as well as the items we have managed to purchase for use in administration as well as sports and operations.

In conclusion, I would only point out that there is little or nothing we can do about the past but we can make a better future today by teaching the young ones what they need to know about hygiene, education, among other life skills which are extremely essential but have been either neglected or people are living in ignorant. We as Sadili are giving ourselves to be part of this transformation that we want to see in Kibera. We look forward to a clean Kibera, with enough toilets, clean water, proper drainage's and other amenities”, says Dorcas Mwanu the project accountant.
